This explains what we collect, why, how long we keep it, and how to get rid of it. Pokebeans is Marlon and Carlos, selling Pokémon cards out of Northwest Arkansas. We ship within the United States only.

If anything here is unclear, email pokebeansar@gmail.com and ask. It’s a real inbox and we read it every day.

What we collect
When you buy something. Your name, shipping address, email address, and what you bought. We need all of it to get a card to you, and we keep a record of it because tax rules require us to.

When you email us. Whatever you put in the email, plus your email address. If you send us photos of a collection you want to sell, we keep those with the enquiry. If you give us a phone number so we can call you back, we use it for that and nothing else.

When you visit the site. We use Google Analytics to see which pages people actually read and which they leave. It sets cookies and records things like your approximate location, your browser and device, and the pages you looked at. It does not load until you agree to it — if you decline the cookie banner, no analytics run at all. What we get back are aggregate numbers, not a file on you.

We do not collect anything else. There are no accounts to create, no newsletter, and no advertising or remarketing pixels on this site.

What we never do
We don’t sell your information. Not to anyone, not in any form, including the arrangements some laws describe as “sharing” for advertising. There is no version of our business where selling customer data makes sense.

We never see your card details. When you pay us online, payment is handled entirely by our payment processor on their own secure systems. Card numbers never touch our website or our hosting servers.

Who else touches it
Bluehost hosts the website and its email, so anything stored on the site sits on their servers.
Google Analytics receives site usage data, but only after you consent.
Shipping carriers (such as USPS) get your name and address, because that is how a parcel arrives.
Our payment processor (Stripe or PayPal) handles online payments directly. They collect billing details on their own secure network; we never see or store full card details.
Google, as the provider of the Gmail address we use for correspondence.
Nobody else. We don’t share your details with other sellers, marketplaces, or marketing companies.

How long we keep it
Order records: 7 years. This one isn’t our choice — sales records have to be kept long enough to support a tax return that could still be audited.
Email enquiries, including Sell To Us submissions: 2 years. After that they’re deleted.
Google Analytics: 14 months, then Google deletes it automatically.
Getting your data, or getting rid of it
Email pokebeansar@gmail.com with “data request” in the subject line so it doesn’t get lost behind card questions. You can ask us to:

tell you what we hold about you
correct something that’s wrong
delete it
We’ll reply in writing within 30 days to confirm receipt and complete your request. The one thing we can’t delete on request is a completed order record inside that 7-year window, because we’re required to keep it — but we can delete everything else, and we’ll tell you plainly what we’ve kept and why.

You don’t need a reason, and asking costs you nothing. We won’t treat you differently for it.

Cookies
The details of every cookie this site sets are in our Cookie Policy. The short version: the site works without any non-essential cookies, and the analytics ones only run if you say yes. You can change your mind at any time through the cookie settings link in the footer.

Children & age limits
This site is intended for general audiences, but purchases, trades, and collection submissions must be made by someone aged 18 or older, or with a parent or guardian present. We don’t knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe your child has sent us personal details, email us and we’ll delete them.

Security
The site runs over HTTPS. We keep WordPress and its plugins updated, and we keep the number of plugins small on purpose. No system is perfect, and we’d rather say that than claim otherwise — if something ever goes wrong that affects your data, we’ll tell you.

Changes
If this policy changes we’ll update the date at the top. If a change actually matters — new data collected, a new company involved, a longer retention period — we’ll say so on the site rather than quietly editing the page.
